An attorney or a lawyer is a person who represents individuals or entities on legal disputes. They do their work in court rooms or just give advice from their office. Some of the duties performed by attorneys are to advise people regarding the steps to be taken while undergoing various legal procedures. Legal aid lawyers are those professional attorneys who provide their services to disadvantaged people through non profit organizations. Other kinds of attorneys include tax attorney, environmental, family, intellectual property and litigation attorney.
