Network Marketing Prospecting - What You Are Not Being Told


One thing that really bothers me about network prospecting, is talking to people that have no interest in owning a MLM business. Why do so many network marketers waste their time and effort day in and day out talking to prospects that want nothing to do with your MLM opportunity?
Many up-line "leaders" think that the best and only way to grow a MLM business is to use the 3 ft rule. (Where you try to prospect anyone and everyone that gets within 3 ft of you and does not run off when you start telling them about your MLM opportunity.)
I know it seems hard to believe but there are some people that have no interest in a Network Marketing opportunity because they really do love their JOBS! There are also people out there that just negative about their life and everything else in the world around them. You have to ask yourself "why I am I wasting my time trying to get people like that to be a MLM prospect?"
I have been told to do waste my time at every meeting and pep rally that I have ever attended but THIS IS NOT THE BEST WAY TO MLM PROSPECT ANYMORE!
It is time that network marketers to learn how to harness the power of the internet to find prospects that are already interested in learning about what YOUR MLM opportunity has to offer. In order to do this you are going to have to put in a MLM prospecting system.
By using a MLM prospecting system we will be able to "go through the numbers" at an extremely fast rate, in fact much faster than the traditional ways could even imagine.
The internet offers so many new ways to help drive business your direction. Just some of the new methods are pay per click (PPC), video marketing (think YouTube), social media (think Facebook), article writing, press releases, eBay and Craigslist. The main factor is going to be sorting through all of the people and getting the ones that are really interested to call you. How is that for a change a prospect calling you instead of screening your calls?
One of the easiest ways to get started marketing your MLM business is with article writing. It is cheap (Free in most cases) and easy (at least once you get the hang of it). Writing articles will also help position you as a leader in the industry. People want to learn from "True" leaders.
This is will give you a competitive edge of most of the people in not only your opportunity but all of the other opportunities that are out there. The very people that read your articles are the people that you have been searching for as good prospects to bring into your MLM business.
You have to remember to include links back to your blog and capture pages that will let your new MLM prospect contact you by leaving their contact information. This is going to let you stay in touch with them so that they can join your opportunity when they are ready.
